HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 10062009 - C.45RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Purchasing Agent, on behalf of the Health Services Department, to execute a Purchase Order with Technologent in an amount not to exceed $135,781.68, for the Avaya Phone System for the networking hardware and back up power system to support the telephone headsets for the Advice Nurse, Appointment Unit and Contra Costa Health Plan (CCHP) Call Centers. FISCAL IMPACT: 100% Enterprise Fund I. BACKGROUND: Health Services Department's current Call Center phone system is over 18 years old, and no longer maintainable. Many parts and maintenace contractors are no longer available for purchase. This Purchase Order will allow the Department to replace the Harris Phone System with the Avaya Phone System. This purchase represents the networking hardware and back up power systems to support the telephone headsets for the Call Centers such as Advice Nurses, Appointment Unit and CCHP.
