HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 10062009 - C.40RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Employment and Human Services Director, or designee, on behalf of the Workforce Development Board, to execute an agreement with Senior Services America, Inc. (SSAI) to accept American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) funding in an amount not to exceed $172,721 for the Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) for the period of February 17, 2009 through June 30, 2010. FISCAL IMPACT: $172,264 County to receive federal American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARAA) funding from Senior Services America, Inc. for the Senior Community Service Employment Program. In Kind Non- federal match $22,457, no County funds match. BACKGROUND: Senior Service America, Inc., received American Recovery and Reinvestment funds for Senior Community Service Employment program grant from the Department of Labor Employment and Training Administration Division of Older Worker Program.
