HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 10062009 - C.27RECOMMENDATION(S): ADOPT Position Adjustment Resolution No. 20724 to increase hours of (1) one Clerk-Experienced Level (JWXB) position #6059 from 20/40 to 32/40 in the Library Department effective November 19, 2009. FISCAL IMPACT: The 2009/10 cost increase of $12,636 is offset by savings realized from abolished and reduced positions at the Antioch Library as listed in Attachment A-Revision #2 of Library Layoff Resolution No. 2009/451, 7/22/09 Agenda Item C.38, amending the layoff effective date to November 18, 2009 for Antioch Library position due to additional revenue received from a private corporation. BACKGROUND: On November 19, 2009, the open hours of the Antioch Library will decrease from 52 hours per week to 35 hours per week. In accordance with Resolution No. 2009/451 on September 22, 2009, six positions will be eliminated or reduced effective November 18, 2009, including elimination of a 40/40 Clerk-Senior Level position.
