HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 10062009 - C.25RECOMMENDATION(S): Department of Child Support Services(0249): APPROVE Appropriations and Revenue Adjustment #5004 authorizing new revenue in the amount not to exceed $12,339 from the California State Department of Child Support Services (DCSS) Revenue Stabilization Fund and appropriating it to the Administrative allocation (1780). FISCAL IMPACT: This additional funding is an augmentation to the department's allocation from the Revenue Stabilization Fund, received from California State Department of Child Support Services. BACKGROUND: In February 2009, the Department of Child Support Services was informed that the State Department of Child Support Services would be providing additional funding via the Revenue Stabilization Fund. The initial proposed additional funding was $448,308; this amount was adopted into the State FY 09/10 budget. This represented an increase of $12,339 of funds. Approval of this action is necessary to accurately reflect the total allocations to be received from the Federal and State governments. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: If this action is not approved, the total allocations to be received by the State and Federal governments will not be accurately reflected.
