HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 09222009 - C.70RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute on behalf of the County, Contract Amendment Agreement #26-583-6 with Specialty Laboratories, Inc., a corporation, effective September 1, 2009, to amend Contract #26-583-5, to increase the payment limit by $65,000 from $600,000 to a new total payment limit of $665,000, with no change in the original term of January 1, 2009 through December 31, 2009. FISCAL IMPACT: Funding for this Contract is 100% Enterprise Fund I. Cost to the County depends upon utilization. BACKGROUND: On January 27, 2009, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #26-583-5 with Specialty Laboratories, Inc., to provide outside laboratory services for Contra Costa Regional Medical Center and Contra Costa Health Centers, for the period from January 1, 2009 through December 31, 2009.
