HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 09222009 - C.69RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract Amendment Agreement #26-581-3 with Ho-Yin Li, M.D., Inc., a professional corporation, effective September 1, 2009, to amend Contract #26-581-1 (as amended by Amendment Agreement #26-581-2) to increase the payment limit by $25,000, from $1,125,000 to a new payment limit of $1,150,000, with no change in the original term of November 1, 2007 through October 31, 2010. FISCAL IMPACT: This Contract is funded 100% by Enterprise Fund I. BACKGROUND: (CONT'D) the Obstetrics Unit at Contra Costa Regional Medical Center. At the time of negotiations the Payment Limit was based on target levels of utilization. However, the utilization during 2008/2009 term of the agreement was higher than originally anticipated. Approval of Contract Amendment Agreement #26-581-3 will allow the Contractor to provide additional anesthesiology services at Contra Costa Regional Medical Center and Contra Costa Health Centers, through October 31, 2010.
