APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Director of Child Support Services, or disgnee, to accept
additional funding from the State Department of Child Sppport Services Revenue
Stabilization Fund in an not to exceed $12,339 for administration of program requirements.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This action will result in an additional amount of approved funding, not to exceed $12,339
for the Department of Child Support Services.
BACKGROUND:
In February 2009, the Department of Child Support Services was informed that the State
Department of Child Support Services would be providing additional funding via the
Revenue Stabilization fund. The initial proposed additional funding was $448,308; this
amount was adopted into the SFY 09/10 budget. In July 2009, the Department of Child
Support Services received a final allocation letter from the State indicating that the amount
of the additional funding allocation had changed to $460,647. This represented an increase
of $12,339 of funds. Approval of this action is necessary to accurately reflect the total
allocations to be received from the Federal and State governments.
