HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 09222009 - C.27RECOMMENDATION(S): FIX a Public Hearing for October 6, 2009, at 9:30 a.m. to consider adoption of an Ordinance adjusting fees in the Tri-Valley Transportation Development (TVTD) Area of Benefit to fund projects in the TVTD Fee Program. DIRECT the Clerk of the Board to publish the Notice of Public Hearing in compliance with Government Code Section 6061. DIRECT the Public Works Director to mail Notice of Hearing in compliance with Government Code sections 66484, 66017, 65091, and 54986. FISCAL IMPACT: Adoption of the proposed ordinance would result in an adjustment in fees charged to new developments within the Tri-Valley Transportation Development (TVTD) Area of Benefit (AOB)to fund regional transportation improvements within the Tri-Valley Development Area. There will be no impact to the General Fund. State law requires a public hearing to be held and notice of the public hearing provided before the adoption of such ordinance. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: A public hearing would not be set, notice would not be giving and the proposed ordinance could not legally be acted on by the Board.
