HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 09222009 - C.12RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Director of Airports, or designee, to EXECUTE, on behalf of the County, a Memorandum of Agreement between the County, as landlord, and the Federal Aviation Administration, as tenant, to construct, operate and maintain FAA owned navigation, communication and weather aid facilities located at Buchanan Field Airport. Concord Area FISCAL IMPACT: There is no negative impact on the General Fund. BACKGROUND: The Memorandum of Agreement supersedes all previous agreements between Contra Costa County and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) that provided for the construction, operation and maintenance of FAA-owned navigation, communication and weather aid facilities for the support of air traffic operations at Buchanan Field Airport.
