HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 09152009 - C.74RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee (Art Lathrop), to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract Extension Agreement #23-365-7 with Global Vision Consortium, a corporation, effective August 31, 2009, to amend Contract #23-365-1 (as amended by Amendment Agreements #23-365-2 through #23-365-6), with no change in the total Payment Limit of $217,990, to extend the term of August 31, 2009 through August 31, 2010. FISCAL IMPACT: This Contract is funded 100% by Federal Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) National Bioterrorism Hospital Preparedness Program funds, through the State Department of Health Services. No County funds are required. Approval of Contract Extension Agreement #23-365-7 will allow the Contractor to continue to provide disaster preparedness services for community clinics including, but not limited to, implementing the Framework for Coordinated Community Clinic Response to Disasters, developing of general emergency preparedness policies and procedures, training with regard to the Incident Command System, Standardized Emergency Management System and National Incident Management System and operations planning for the Richmond Health Center, through August 31, 2010.
