Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee (Donna Wigand) to
execute on behalf of the County, Contract Amendment Agreement #74-108-46(7) with
Margaret Grimley, M.D., a self-employed individual, effective June 1, 2009, to amend
Contract #74-108-46(5) [as amended by Amendment Agreement #74-108-46(6)], to
increase the Contract payment limit by $26,000, from $120,000 to a new payment limit of
$146,000, with no change in the original term of July 1, 2008 through June 30, 2010.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This Contract is funded 100% by Medi-Cal Funds, offset 50% State and 50% Federal.
BACKGROUND:
In August 2008, the County Administrator approved and the Purchasing Services Manager
executed Contract #74-108-46(5) [as amended by Contract Amendment Agreement
#74-108-46(6)] with Margaret Grimley, M.D., to provide Medi-Cal specialty mental health
services, for the period from July 1, 2008 through June 30, 2010. At the time of
negotiations, the payment limit was based
