HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 09152009 - C.43RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Employment & Human Services Director, or designee, to execute a contract to accept funding from Contra Costa Community College District, in an amount not to exceed $1,344,230 for State Preschool Services during the term July 1, 2009 through June 30, 2010. (100% State funding) FISCAL IMPACT: None. No County match. 100% State funds. BACKGROUND: Contra Costa College District receives funds from the State of California Department of Education for State Preschool program services. The District, in turn, contracts with Contra Costa Employment & Human Services Department Community Services Bureau to provide the services. The agreement is for part-day and full-day preschool services to program eligible children and families during the term July 1, 2009 through June 30, 2010.
