(100% grant funded) FISCAL IMPACT: 90% grant funded (Universal Aservice Administrative Company, School and Libraries Division) 10% Community Services Bureau, Employment & Human Services Department funding. Department funding match will be funded by other grant sources. No net County costs. The increased technology will allow Community Services Bureau teaching staff to participate in distance learning activities in support of obtaining a degree in child development, which meets Head Start regulation requirements. The bureau will be responsible for 10% of the costs ($63,558) which will be met by other grant sources. A General Services Department Supplemental Approval form has been submitted to the County Administrator's office for approval. A purchase requisition #CS-121-10 (49020 & 49032) is in process with the General Services Department. The approved vendor for this project is AT&T. Approval of this board order will allow the department to pursue the WAN, teleconferencing and Internet connection upgrades. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: CHILDREN'S IMPACT STATEMENT:
