Resolution No. 2009/400
Transferring the Advisory Committee responsibilities for County Service Area R-7A to the Alamo MAC, effective
December 31, 2009.
WHEREAS the Citizen Advisory Committee for County Service Area (CSA) R-7A was created by the Board of Supervisors in
1984 to provide advice to the Board and County Departments concerning community priorities for park and recreation
improvements; and
WHEREAS on August 11, 2009 the Board of Supervisors created the Alamo Municipal Advisory Council which among other
things, is charged with advising the Board of Supervisors on public services, such as park and recreation improvements, provided
within the boundaries of the Alamo community, which includes the area of CSA R-7A; and
WHEREAS effective January 1, 2010, the advisory functions currently performed by the Citizen Advisory Committee for CSA
R-7A will be performed by the Alamo Municipal Advisory Council;
It is hereby RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors that:
1. The Citizen Advisory Committee for County Service Area R-7A is eliminated effective December 31, 2009.
2. This Resolution 2009/400 supersedes Section 4 of Resolution 84/243 which established the Citizen Advisory Committee for
County Service Area R7-A and all subsequent Board Orders addressing the composition of the Advisory Committee.
3. This resolution does not otherwise modify Resolution 84/243 or affect the existence of County Service Area R-7A.
