HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 08042009 - C.77RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee (Jeff Smith, MD.), to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract Amendment Agreement #26-977-8 with Pacific Urology, a corporation, effective August 1, 2009, to amend Contract #26-977-7 to increase the Payment Limit by $15,000, from $275,000, to a new total payment limit of $290,000, with no change in the original term of November 1, 2006 through October 31, 2009. FISCAL IMPACT: 100% Enterprise Fund I. Cost to the County depends upon utilization. As appropriate, patients and/or third party payors will be billed for services. BACKGROUND: On October 17, 2006, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #26-977-7 with Pacific Urology, for the period from November 1, 2006 through October 31, 2009, to provide Urology services at Contra Costa Regional Medical Center and Contra Costa Health Centers, including consultation, training, and medical and/or surgical procedures.
