HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 08042009 - C.59RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Purchasing Agent, on behalf of the Health Services Department, to execute a Purchase Order to the Echo Group, in an amount not to exceed $225,977 for the purchase of software maintenance and hardware maintenance for Mental Health and Alcohol and Other Drugs Services, for the period of July 1, 2009 through June 30, 2010. FISCAL IMPACT: 100% funded by Enterprise Fund I. BACKGROUND: Since 1999, the Department has used The Echo Group's INSYST System to process the Health Services Department’s Mental Health & Alcohol and Other Drugs Services client registrations, service charges, billing, accounts receivable and scheduling functions. The County owns a perpetual license for the Echo INSYST System.
