HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 08042009 - C.53RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Auditor-Controller, or designee, to remit payment to Taste of Life Catering for goods and services provided to the Employment & Human Services Department Community Services Bureau during the annual Board of Supervisors/Policy Council/Economic Opportunity Council joint training. FISCAL IMPACT: The Community Services Bureau's Head Start and Early Head Start budget includes funding for the annual Board of Supervisors/Policy Council/Economic Opportunity Council joint training, for a total cost of $3,331.08, which is 100% funded by Federal dollars. BACKGROUND: The Community Services Bureau is required to provide an annual joint training with it's Head Start and Early Head Start governing bodies, which include the Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors, Head Start Policy Council, and Economic Opportunity Council. The cost of catering this event is included in line 3 of the Head Start and Early Head Start budget, which is 100% Federally funded.
