HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 08042009 - C.38RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the County Probation Officer to apply for and accept the Office Of Justice Programs, Drug Court Discretionary Grant in an amount not to exceed $200,000 to enhance and strengthen the Contra Costa County Adult Felony Drug Court for the period July 1, 2009 through June 30, 2011. FISCAL IMPACT: $200,000; $100,000 in fiscal year 2009/10 and $100,000 in fiscal year 2010/11. 25% match required. The Probation Department will meet the match requirement by allocating budgeted local resources to the program from within the department's operational budget. (CFDA# 16.585) BACKGROUND: The Office of Justice Programs is providing the Drug Court Discretionary Grant to enhance adult drug court efforts through intensive probation supervision of felony drug offenders.
