HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 07212009 - C.104RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee (Haven Fearn), to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract Amendment Agreement #24–948–19 with New Connections, a non-profit corporation, effective July 1, 2009, to amend Novation Contract #24–948–18, to decrease the automatic extension payment limit by $192,500, from $231,000 to a new automatic extension payment limit of $38,500, and to change the term of the automatic extension from December 31, 2009 to July 31, 2009. FISCAL IMPACT: This Contract is funded 4% by Federal Perinatal Set-Aside and 96% by the State of California Work Opportunities and Responsibilities to Kids (CalWORKs) through the Employment and Human Services Department. The current state CalWORKs funding for the County's Alcohol and Other Drugs Program will expire as of July 31, 2009. Approval of Contract Amendment Agreement #24–948–19 will allow the Contractor to continue providing services through July 1, 2009.
