FISCAL IMPACT: Approval of this application will result in a projected amount of $24,983 of funds for the Department's Solid Waste Program. No County funds are required. Pursuant to Public Resources Code Section 43230, this grant award will be used solely for the support of the solid waste facilities permit and inspection programs, including personnel, training, equipment, supplies, and technical support. The purpose of this Board Order is to correct the amount payable to the County from $28,983 to $24,983, allow continuation of the Local Enforcement Agency (LEA) assistance funds for the Department's Environmental Health Division (Solid Waste Program) through June 30, 2010.
