HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 07212009 - C.58RECOMMENDATION(S): AMEND Board action of March 11, 2008 (Item C59), which authorized receipt of grant funds from the Metropolitan Transportation Commission for the New Freedom Program, by changing the term from April 1, 2008 through October 31, 2009 to June 1, 2009 through January 31, 2011, with no change in the payment limit of $45,000. FISCAL IMPACT: $45,000: 100% Metropolitan Transportation Commission. No County match. BACKGROUND: In March of 2008, in anticipation that the Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) would fund the New Freedom Grant during the 2008/2009 fiscal year, the Board was asked to authorize receipt of funds with the term April 1, 2008 through October 31, 2009. On June 23, 2009, the Employment and Human Services Department received the MTC Funding Agreement which specified the term of June 1, 2009 through January 31, 2011.
