G. Dessayer, Town of Moraga, requesting that the presentation scheduled for this date by Bill Coombs relating to the Gateway Boulevard issue be rescheduled to a later date. Supervisor Fanden expressed concerns regarding the Board' s action on December 10, 1985 relative to its adoption of Resolution 85/718 opposing the sale of the State owned portion of Gateway right-of-way, Moraga, and therefore requested that the Board recon- sider its action on that matter. Supervisor Schroder advised that he could not support a motion for reconsideration for the reason that it is his understanding that even though the land will remain in the control of the State, the City through a negotiated lease arrangement would be able to use the land for parks/open space purposes. Board members considered the request of Supervisor Fanden and expressed interest in reviewing this matter further with repre- sentatives from the Town of Moraga. There being no further discussion, IT IS BY THE BOARD ORDERED that January 114, 1986 at 10 :30 A.M. is FIXED as the time to reconsider its action of December 10 , 1985 opposing the sale by CALTRANS of the Gateway Boulevard right-of-way, Moraga area. cc: Town of Moraga Public Works County Administrator 1 hereby certify that this is a true and correct copy of an action talon and entered on the minutes of the Board of Supervisors on the date shown.
