Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee (Donna Wigand), to
execute, on behalf of the County, Interagency Agreement #74-344 with the Regents of the
University of California, San Francisco, Department of Psychiatry, an educational
institution, in an amount not to exceed $8,080, to provide training for the County’s Mental
Health Division staff for the period from February 1, 2009 through January 31, 2010.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This Contract is funded 100% by Mental Health Realignment.
BACKGROUND:
Under this Contract #74-344 the Regents of the University of California, San Francisco
(Department of Psychiatry) will provide clinical evaluation and consultation services to the
County’s Mental Health Division staff with regard to providing an overview of the
University of Washington’s Depression Care Model (IMPACT Model) and certifying
selected County clinical staff with regard to Problem Solving Therapy (PST), through
January 31, 2010.
