HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 06232009 - C.97RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Employment & Human Services Director, or designee, to execute a contract with Concord Childcare Center, Inc. in an amount not to exceed $108,600 to provide Head Start and Early Head Start Program Enhancement Services for the term July 1, 2009 through June 30, 2010. FISCAL IMPACT: 100% Federal funds / CFDA #93.600 Administration for Children & Families BACKGROUND: Contra Costa County receives funds from the Administration for Children and Families (ACF) to provide Head Start and Early Head Start program services to program eligible County residents. The Board approved receipt of funds from ACF on September 16, 2008. The Department, in turn, contracts with a number of community-based organizations to provide a wider distribution of services. Approval of this contract will allow the provision of Head Start services to twenty (20) program eligible children and Early Head Start services to thirteen (13) program eligible children and families.
