FISCAL IMPACT: $123,080; 100% County General Fund, Budgeted FY 2009/10. BACKGROUND: Tiburon, Inc., provides software licensing and support for the dispatch and record-keeping systems currently used by the Office of the Sheriff. The CAD/RMS is a critical public safety system used by dispatch to document calls for service and dispatch law enforcement units to those calls. Additionally, it is used by the Sheriff's Records Unit to collect data required by the State. The licensing and support allow our systems to be up and running 24/7 and provide emergency assistance if the system goes down.
