Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee (Donna Wigand), to
execute, on behalf of the County, Contract Amendment Agreement #74-058-11 with Seneca
Residential and Day Treatment Center for Children, a non-profit corporation, effective April
1, 2009, to amend Contract #74-058-10, to increase the payment limit by $25,000, from
$500,000 to a new payment limit of $525,000, with no change in the original term of July 1,
2008 through June 30, 2009.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This Contract is funded 32% Federal Medi-Cal, 32% State EPSDT, 13% Mental Health
Realignment, 23% Individuals with Disabilities Education Act.
BACKGROUND:
On January 27, 2009, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #74-058-10 with Seneca
Residential and Day Treatment Center for Children, for the period from July 1, 2008
through June 30, 2009, which included a six-month automatic extension through December
31, 2009, for the provision of intensive crisis stabilization services to youth through the
Mobile Crisis Response
