ADOPT Position Adjustment Resolution No. 20697 to reduce the hours of one Deputy
District Attorney Basic Level (2KTF) position #3777 (represented) and incumbent from full
time to part time (20/40) for the period October 1 through December 31, 2009, returning to
full time status on January 1, 2010.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This voluntary reduction in hours will be a cost savings in the amount of $24,731 for the
2009/10 fiscal year.
BACKGROUND:
The incumbent in position 3777 has requested to work part time (20/40) from October 1
through December 31, 2009, and return to work full time on January 1, 2010. This position
adjustment is necessary to accommodate the incumbent's request while at the same time
yielding a cost savings to the District Attorney's operational budget in fiscal year 2009/10.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
If this request is not approved the incumbent will be adversely impacted and the District
