HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 06022009 - C.65RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee (Donna Wigand), to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract #74–143–16 with California Psychiatric Transitions, Inc., a corporation, in an amount not to exceed $725,500, to provide residential care and mental health services to severely emotionally disturbed adults for the period from July 1, 2009 through June 30, 2010. FISCAL IMPACT: This Contract is funded 100% by Mental Health Realignment. BACKGROUND: This Contract meets the social needs of County’s population in that it provides a multi-disciplinary treatment program to adults who need active psychiatric treatment, including medication support and individual and group therapy services, as an alternative to hospitalization at a State Hospital.
