Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee (Pat Godley), to
execute, on behalf of the County, Contract Amendment/Extension Agreement #23–421–1
with CorEMR, LC, a limited liability company, effective June 30, 2009, to amend Contract
#23–421, to increase the payment limit by $70,000, from $125,000, to a new payment limit
of $195,000, and extend the term from June 30, 2009 through June 30, 2010.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This Contract is funded 100% by Enterprise Fund I.
BACKGROUND:
On June 17, 2008, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #23–421, with CorEMR,
LC, for the period from July 1, 2008 through June 30, 2009, for the provision of an
electronic medical records system for the jail and juvenile hall, including hardware,
software, installation, maintenance, training and software licensing. The Contract deleted
the County’s standard indemnification clause as part of the Contractor’s standards for
approval of the agreement.
