HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 06022009 - C.22RECOMMENDATION(S):
APPROVE Appropriations and Revenue Adjustment No. 5088 authorizing new revenue in
the amount of $50,000 in grant funds from Conoco Philips and appropriating it EHS
Department 0502, Children and Family Services, for Fiscal Year (FY) 2008/2009, for new
activities to be performed in the Independent Living Skills Program and as part of the
Conoco Phillips Project Youth Employment Services (YES) Grant.
FISCAL IMPACT:
No General Fund impact. Funds are being provided through a grant with Conoco Phillips.
The adjustment(s) increase the Department's ability to identify and continue to provide
funding to EHSD program costs.
BACKGROUND:
EHSD included revenue estimates and appropriations as part of the Department's budget
plan. At that time, the exact budgetary amounts of program revenue and expenditures were
not known. Approving the specific allocation permits the Department to meet current
service delivery needs as authorized in the budget process.
