HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 06022009 - C.04RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Purchasing Agent to execute a 2-year blanket purchase order with All American Rentals in the amount of $300,000, for road and flood control facility maintenance, as recommended by the Public Works Director, Countywide. FISCAL IMPACT: The cost $300,000.00 is budgeted for 2009/2010. BACKGROUND: The Public Works Department uses equipment such as loaders, backhoes and grinders for various work Countywide. The Department does not own all equipment necessary to support the various jobs and program. This Purchase Order is going to be used to supplement County equipment for both road and flood control facility maintenance throughout the year as needed. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: Various programs will be delayed or not completed.
