HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 05192009 - C.04RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Chief Engineer, or designee, to execute the Temporary Permit for Soil Testing and Survey studies, with John and Margaret Camara and Hillside Group, LLC, effective March 1, 2009 through August 31, 2009, for the Upper Sand Creek Detention Basin Project. FISCAL IMPACT: There is no impact to the County General Fund. BACKGROUND: The Contra Costa County Flood Control and Water Conservation District is in the initial phase of the Upper Sand Creek Detention Basin Project. It is necessary to conduct soil testing and surveys to determine the impact in the surrounding area before the project can move forward. As requested by the property owners, indemnification has been included in the permit. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: The project would not be able to move forward.
