FISCAL IMPACT: None BACKGROUND: On June 18, 2002, the Board of Supervisors adopted Resolution No. 2002/377, which requires that each regular and ongoing board, commission, or committee shall annually report to the Board of Supervisors on its activities, accomplishments, membership attendance, required training/certification (if any), and proposed work plan or objectives for the following year, on the second Tuesday in December. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: The reporting Committee will not be in compliance with Resolution No. 2002/377. The Committee reviewed four projects, three sets of landscaping-related guidelines, two draft IHC Program Elements (Financial Element and Public Information Element), monitored the IHC Trust Fund financials, and advised County staff on removal of illegal encroachments by properties adjacent to the Corridor. The Committee held working sessions for the draft Public Information Element, the Iron Horse Trust Fund to establish funding request guidelines, and streamlining of the Adopt-the-Corridor Program to facilitate increased public involvement. Accomplishments The Committee provided valuable feedback to County staff on IHC right of way guidelines, tree preservation guidelines, mulching guidelines, Trust Fund request guidelines, the draft Financial Element and the draft Public Information Element.
