HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 05122009 - C.33RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Employment & Human Services Department Director, or designee, to execute a contract amendment with California Department of Education to update Funding Terms and Conditions to include new program eligibility requirements with no change to the payment limit of $82,996 or term July 1, 2008 through June 30, 2009. FISCAL IMPACT: No Couty match / 100% State funding BACKGROUND: On July 8, 2009 the Board approved receipt of funds from California Department of Education for extended day care (latchkey) services to be provided by the Employment & Human Services Department, Community Services Bureau. This amendment does not add money to the contract but is to update the Funding Terms and Conditions with new information from the State regarding program eligibility and income requirements.
