Declare vacant the community seat member #1 on the Advisory Council for Equal
Employment Opportunity, held by Miguel Castaneda and direct the Clerk of the Board to
post this vacany. Mr. Castaneda resigned from his position on April 24, 2009. It is
necessary to fill this vacancy in an effort to bring the Advisory Council to its required
number of active members.
FISCAL IMPACT:
None
BACKGROUND:
The Advisory Council has eleven members and would like to fill this community member
seat.
The role of the Advisory Council is to advise the Board of Supervisors regarding the
implementation of the County's Affirmative Action Plan; review the County's Affirmative
