Subject:Appointments to the Contra Costa County Historical Landmarks Advisory Committee
BACKGROUND:
In February of 2002, the Board provided that the membership of the Historical
Landmarks Advisory Committee would be comprised of four members of the Contra
Costa County Historical Society and the Contra Costa County Community Development
Director.
The term for Seat 1, held by Dr. Mario M. Menesini expired on August 12, 2006, and the
term for Seat 3, held by Dr. Joseph R. Mariotti expired on July 7, 2007. In a letter dated
April 8, 2009, Mr. Webb Johnson, Treasurer of the Contra Costa County Historical
Society forwarded the Board of Directors’ nomination of Ms. Ashley Ciaglo and Mr.
Webb Johnson as replacements for Seats 1 and 3.
