Subject:Application for California Arts Council Grant
BACKGROUND: (CONT'D)
constraints, the California Arts Council did not make grant funds available for fiscal
2004-2005 or 2005-2006. The revival of the grant program for 2006-2007 was a positive
step toward a healthy future for the arts in California. The County Administrator's Office
has applied for an received grant funding annually since that time. General operating
support provided by the California Arts Council will help ensure the implementation of
local arts programming to benefit County residents.
