Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee (Jeff Smith, M.D.), to
execute on behalf of the County, Contract Extension Agreement #26-595-2 with Bay Area
Executive Search, Inc., a corporation, effective March 31, 2009, to extend the term from
March 31, 2009 through September 30, 2009 with no change in the original Payment Limit
of $90,000 for recruitment services for pharmacists at Contra Costa Regional Medical
Center and Contra Costa Health Centers.
FISCAL IMPACT:
None, there is no change in the Contract Payment Limit of $90,000. This Contract is funded
100% by Enterprise Fund I. Contractor will only be paid for recruitment services if a
successful candidate is placed with the County.
BACKGROUND:
On June 3, 2008, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #26-595-1, with Bay Area
Executive Search, Inc., for the period from April 1, 2009 through March 31, 2009, for the
provision of recruitment services of pharmacists for Contra Costa Regional Medical Center
