HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 04072009 - C.27RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Public Works Director, or designee, to execute a contract with Callandar Associates Landscape Architecture, Inc. in an amount not to exceed $250,000 for countywide landscape architectural services for the period April 1, 2009 through March 31, 2011. FISCAL IMPACT: There is no impact to the County General Fund. Services are paid by developer fees. BACKGROUND: Special Districts and Construction staff conducted a search for consultants to provide Countywide Landscape Architectural services. Staff contacted 46 firms and requested a Letter of Interest and Statement of Qualification (SOQ) by December 23, 2008, in order to be considered for a contract. Of the 46 firms contacted, 11 submitted Letters of Interest and SOQ’s and of these 11 the Construction Division chose 2 firms based on their unique qualifications and staff need. Callander Associates Landscape Architecture, Inc. was one of these firms.
