Subject:APPROVE A LICENSE FOR 4961 PACHECO BOULEVARD, MARTINEZ
FISCAL IMPACT:
The License will obligate the County to pay a montly rent of $900. The License costs were
anticipated and budgeted in the Health Services Departments approved FY 2008/2009
budget.
BACKGROUND:
The License is for overnight and weekend parking of the three Health Services Mobile
Clinic vans when they are not in service. Each van contains toilet facilities, and requires
electrical and sewage hook-ups to empty the sewage. The proposed location has a service
center, and provides such electrical and sewage hook-ups for the vans. In addition, the
mobile clinics provide pharmacy services to County clients, and need to be stored in a
secure location.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
The County will not have a secure place to park the Health Services Mobile Clinic vans
when they are not in service and will have to find another location to store the vans.
