HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 03172009 - C.57RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee (Patricia Tanquary) to execute on behalf of the County, Contract #27–622-3 with Young M. Kim, M.D. (dba Young’s OB/GYN), a self-employed individual, in an amount not to exceed $110,000, to provide professional OB/GYN services for Contra Costa Health Plan members for the period from March 1, 2009 through February 28, 2011. FISCAL IMPACT: This Contract is funded 100% by Contra Costa Health Plan member premiums. Costs depend upon utilization. BACKGROUND: The Health Plan has an obligation to provide certain specialized professional health care services for its members under the terms of their Individual and Group Health Plan membership contracts with the County. In May 2008, the County Administrator approved and the Purchasing Services Manager executed Contract #27–622-2 with Young M.
