Subject:CSBG Emergency Homeless Services
BACKGROUND: (CONT'D)
The Department will utilize an Inter-departmental Agreement with County Health Services to meet these goals.
Due to State budgetary process delays, the State was not able to confirm the grant award until late February 2009.
The original end date for the agreement was February 28, 2009, which did not allow timely Board approval of the
award. Subsequently, the State changed the term end date to April 30, 2009, to better facilitate contract award
execution.
