Recommendation(s):
Approve Appropriation and Revenue Adjustment No. 5068 authorizing new revenue in the amount $44,063 from
accumulated depreciation and estimated salvage and appropriating it to purchase two replacement vehicles for the Public
Works Department Flood Control Unit.
Fiscal Impact:
This action provides appropriations from depreciation and salvage for the replacement of two vehicles. The estimated
purchase cost of $65,000 will be funded with accumulated depreciation ($41,763), estimated salvage ($2,300) and funds
($20,937) from the Public Works Department Flood Control FY2008/09 Budget.
Background:
The Public Works Department is replacing a utility vehicle and a brush chipper. Both pieces of equipment meet
replacement policy guidelines.
