HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 03032009 - C.45RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee (William Walker, M.D.), to execute on behalf of the County, Contract Amendment Agreement #23-363-9 with Taryk Rouchdy (dba International Effectiveness Center), a self-employed individual, effective July 1, 2008, to amend Contract #23-363-6 (as amended by Amendment Agreement #23-363-7), to increase the payment limit by $33,110, from $406,500 to a new payment limit of $439,610 with no change in the original term of December 1, 2007 through November 30, 2008. FISCAL IMPACT: This Contract is funded 100% by Enterprise Fund I. BACKGROUND: On December 18, 2007, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #23-363-6 (as amended by Amendment Agreement #23-363-7) with Taryk Rouchdy (dba International Effectiveness Center), for the period from December 1, 2007 through November 30, 2008, for the provision of interpreting and translation services for the Health Services Department.
