HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 02242009 - C.78RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Employment and Human Services Director, or designee, to execute a contract amendment with Psychotherapy Institute of Individual, Family and Community Development, a corporation, effective February 1, 2009, to increase the payment limit by $17,636 to a new payment limit not to exceed $77,636 with no change in the term of March 1, 2008 through February 28, 2010, to provide additional court ordered Mental Health Services not anticipated in the original contract to Children and Family Services (CFS) clients who do not qualify for Medi-Cal Services. (100% County Funds) FISCAL IMPACT: $77,636: 100% County Funds BACKGROUND: Mental health services are often ordered by the Court for Children and Family Services (CFS) clients who do not qualify for Medi-Cal Services. This contract amendment will authorize an increase in the total contract payment limit for the contractor to provide additional court ordered mental health services to non Medi-Cal eligible CFS clients.
