HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 10301984 - X.2 CORRECTED COPY - PLEASE DESTROY PREVIOUS ISSUE .L THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA Adopted this Resolution on October 30, 1984 by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Fanden, Schroder and Torlakson NOES: None ABSENT: Supervisors Powers and McPeak ABSTAIN: None RESOLUTION NO. 84/666 SUBJECT: Approving the Application for ) 1984 State Grant Funds for Vista ) San Ramon Community Park, Phase I ) Project, County Service Area R-7B ) 7759-4745 Resolution of the Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County approving the application for grant funds under the California Park and Recreational Facilities Act of 1984 Community Competitive program of the California Park and Recreational Facilities Act of 1984 for Vista San Ramon Community Park, Phase I project. WHEREAS, the people of the State of California have enacted the California Park and Recreational Facilities Act of 1984, which provides funds to the State of California and its political subdivisions for developing facilities for public recreational purposes; and WHEREAS, the State Department of Parks and Recreation has been delegated the responsibility for the administration of the program within the state, setting up necessary procedures governing application by local agencies under the program; and WHEREAS, said procedures established by the State Department of Parks and Recreation require the applicant to certify by resolution the approval of applications before submission of said applications to the state; and WHEREAS, said applications contain assurances that the applicant must comply with; and WHEREAS , the applicant agency will enter into an agreement with the State of California for development rehabilitation or restoration of the project; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the County of Contra Costa hereby; 1. Approves the filing of an application for 1984 state grant assistance for the above project in the amount of $254,000; and 2. Certifies that said agency understands the assurances and certification in the application; and 3. Certifies that said agency has or will have sufficient funds to operate and maintain the project; and if the project is selected for state grant funding; 4. Certifies that said organization will provide construction plans and specifications to the State within one year of the appropriation of funds under this program and will commence work immediately after State approval ; and 5. Appoints the Public Works Director as the agent of the County of Contra Costa to conduct all negotiations, execute and submit all documents including but not limited to applications, agreements, amendments, payment requests, and so on which may be necessary for the completion of the aforementioned project.� �� �V �oft an anon 060n Ad sniffed on N,�f mMuln of am Orig.
