AYES: Supervisors Powers, Fanden, Schroder, MCPeak, Torlakson
NOES: None
ABSENT: None

SUBJECT:
DECLARING OCTOBER 27, 1984 AS NORTH RICHMOND APPRECIATION DAY
WHEREAS the Citizens of North Richmond wish to join together
to renew the community spirit for which they have long been known; and
WHEREAS this year specific concerns have been voiced by
residents and community leaders in the North Richmond area; and
WHEREAS there is a great need for unified and continuing efforts
to address these significant concerns; and
14HEREAS each year the North Richmond Community observes North
Richmond Appreciation Day; and
WHEREAS on October 27, 1984 the Citizens of North Richmond
will participate in a Unity Parade, Rally and Picnic;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors
of Contra Costa County does declare Saturday, October 27, 1984 as
NORTH RICHMOND APPRECIATION DAY.
