SUBJECT: In the Matter of an Amendment to the Designation of a Survey Area
in Contra Costa County Pursuant to Health and Safety Code 533310 et. seq.
The Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors RESOLVES THAT:
County staff has recommended to the Board of Supervisors a change
in the area which was designated as the survey area for redevelopment' s-Ludy
purposes in Resolution No. 84;34; and
It is the desire of the Board of Supervisors to amend Exhibit A
to Resolution 84!34, and designate the area attached hereto as Exhibit A
(Amended) as a survey area pursuant to Health & Safety Code Section 33310
et. seq.
The area set forth on Exhibit A (Amended) requires study to determine
if a redevelopment project or projects within the area are feasible.
Exhibit A (Amended) describing the boundaries of the survey area
designated herein is incorporated and by this reference made a part hereof.

Dear Board Members:
Please accept my resignation from the position of Contra Costa
County Administrator, Executive Director of the County Redevelopment
Agency and any other titles I hold by virtue of my employment with
the County. This resignation is to be effective at the close of
the day March 16, 1984.
I have enjoyed and been challenged in five years of leadership
in implementing improvements and adjustments in County operations.
The results are a much leaner and more effective organization. The
support of Board members, my staff and department heads has been
gratifying. However, it seems timely now for your Board to select
new leadership and I wish to give you that opportunity.
