HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 01241984 - T.6 THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA Adopted this Order on Januar 24, 1984 , by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Powers, Fanden, Schroder, McPeak, Torlakson NOES: None ABSENT: None ABSTAIN: None SUBJECT: Hearing on recommendation of the County Planning Commission with respect to the proposed Land Use Element of the County General Plan for the Rodeo Area. This being the time fixed for hearing on the recommen- dation of the County Planning Commission with respect to a proposed amendment to the Land Use Element of the County General Plan for approximately seven square miles of the Rodeo area; and Harvey Bragdon, Assistant Director of Planning having described the property site and having advised that a Negative Declaration of Environmental Significance was filed for the proposal; and The Chairman having opened the public hearing, and the following persons having appeared to express their opinions with respect to the County Planning Commission' s recommendations, and having also expressed their concerns relating to the Planning Commission' s recommendations for the following three areas: 1. Lands adjacent to Willow Avenue from 7th Street to I-80. 2. Lands north of 2nd Street and west of Pacific Avenue. 3. Lands east of Parker Avenue adjacent to the Post Office and east of Garretson School.
