HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTIONS - 09182007 - 2007-508 THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA acting in its capacity as the Governing Body of the In-Home Supportive Services Public Authority Adopted this Order on / �� by the following vote: AYES.J, NOES: NohQ ABSENT:_ V_ h.0 n j SUBJECT: In the Matter of Compensation and Personnel ) RESOLUTION NO. 20071,5_0e in the In-Home Support Services Public ) Authority ) THE CONTRA COSTA COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS in its capacity as governing Board of the In- Home Supportive Services Public Authority RESOLVES THAT.- Whereas, HAT:Whereas, the Contra Costa County Human Resources Department has conducted a desk review of the duties and functions of the Office Manager position in the In-Home Supportive Services Public Authority (IHSS), and Whereas, the desk audit found that the duties necessary to perform the necessary functions of the position indicate that the position should be classified at the Secretary—Advanced Level, and Whereas, this position reports directly to the Executive Director of the Public Authority, and Whereas, the IHSS staff recommend the position and its incumbent be classified at the appropriate level, and Whereas, employees of the IHSS Public Authority receive salary and benefits that mirror those of County employees, THEREFORE, the Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors, in its capacity as governing Board of the In-Home Supportive Services Public Authority RESOLVES THAT, The Officer Manager position and its incumbent be reclassified to Secretary—Advanced Level, with benefits which mirror those provided to County employees, effective the day after the action is taken.
